Areas of application
You can integrate the app into your daily business in various cases and advise customers quickly and easily on ergonomics. We have put together some examples for you:
1. When selling new bikes
The profiler determines the suitable frame height by means of a digital Body measurement and also collects other important information when determining the sit bone width and reach distance. This way you can quickly find the right bike for every customer. The app also shows all ergonomic products directly: The manufacturer equips the bikes according to the “one size fits all” principle, so that you can choose them directly when you sell them highest quality products such as saddle, grips, handlebars and pedals.
2. Ergonomics advice during initial inspection
During initial inspection, the Profiler asks the customer about complaints in the seat, hand and neck area after the first rides with the new bike. If you offer a free initial inspection, you can include the full rider experience in the check and not just limit yourself to the bike.
3. Selling by contact points
If the customer expresses a desire for new saddle or handles, the profiler considers measurements of the individual contact points. Then, based in the physical and health-related data, it recommends the most suitable products:
- Pelvis: saddle and trousers
- Hand: Grips, handlebars, Innerbarends®, stem, gloves
4. After the new bike sale
Sensitize the customer during bike handoverto look out for complaints in the seat, hand and neck area that occur during initial rides and remind them to get back in touch if necessary. All of these complaints can then be dealt with as part of a ergonomics consultation at your shop.
5. Workshop acceptance
Speak to the customer as part of an inspection about discomfort in the sitting, hand and neck areas. Offer a ergonomics consultation and, if possible, include it in the check free of charge.
6. Bicycle leasing
The profiler queries known health data when determining the width of the sit bones and grip width. This way, ergonomic accessories for most leasing providers can be integrated into the Monthly Rate easily.
In detail: What is being measured?
Sit bone measurement
With a photo of the sit bone paper, the sit bone distance and a printed image can be calculated instantly.
Hand measurement
With the included measuring pad, the customer's hand size can be calculated in seconds.
Body measurement
The body measurement not only determines stride length but also shoulder width, arm length and other measurements.
